The priority areas identified by the plan are:
- increasing the number of bilingual staff in colleges and training providers
- improving the availability of Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ-medium teaching resources
- promoting the opportunities and benefits to learners in Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖpriority areas
The Coleg will be taking the plan forward in partnership with Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ Government.

The to review the activities of the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol in 2016. The group considered if the remit of the Coleg should include post 16 Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ medium education.
