Overview
The Initial Teacher Education (ITE) Priority Subject Incentive scheme provides a £15,000 grant to eligible students.
The grant is paid in instalments during a student’s ITE programme and early career.
The payments must be claimed within one year of:
- award of QTS
- completion of induction

The deadline for claims will be a year later for part-time students.
