Iestyn Tudur-Jones Member
Iestyn is General Manager of Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ Lamb & Beef Producers Ltd(WLBP) and a graduate from Aberystwyth University with a degree in Rural Resource Management.
He is responsible for the day to day management of WLBP and the Farm Assured Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ Livestock scheme as well as its certification body, Quality Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ Food Certification. As company secretary of Iechyd Da, the veterinary consortium of Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ vets and WLBP, Iestyn has played a role in the evolution of the current Veterinary Delivery Programme (VDP) regime in Mid and South Wales.
A strong proponent of a closer working relationship between farmers, vets and Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ Government, Iestyn has recently worked to develop a platform to enable farmers and vets to accurately calculate the level of antibiotic consumption on Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ beef, lamb and dairy farms.
