Use this list to check landfill site operators and landfill sites are registered with the Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ Revenue Authority (WRA) to operate.
If you or your waste carrier are sending waste to landfill in Wales, you must use a landfill site operator registered to dispose of your waste.
Only registered landfill site operators are permitted to operate. This means they should have the right things in place to:
- protect the environment
- collect and pay the right amount of tax
Use of an unauthorised site in Wales might lead to you having to pay Landfill Disposals tax charged by weight at the unauthorised disposals rate.
