International Investment Summit

2.1 The First Minister informed Cabinet that, on Friday, she had launched the International Investment Summit at a visit to KLA and Cadence. The summit would be taking place on 1st December at the International Convention Centre Wales and the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport.

Iftar Buffet

2.2 The First Minister informed Cabinet that she had attended an Iftar Buffet on Friday evening to break the Ramadan Fast with members of the Muslim Community.

Media round in London

2.3 The First Minister had also attended a media round in London the previous week with the Foreign Press Association.

Chancellor of the Exchequer’s Spring Statement

2.4 Cabinet noted the Chancellor of the Exchequer would be delivering her Spring Statement on Wednesday of that week. There would be an opportunity at the next meeting for the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ Language to outline the implications for the Îʶ¦ÓéÀÖ Government.

3.1 Cabinet considered the Plenary Grid and noted that voting time was scheduled for 7:20pm on Tuesday and would be around 5.55pm on Wednesday.
